Arizona’s Top Magicians Perform for Houdini Fundraiser in Tucson

Stars of Magic

The Society of American Magicians, an organization originally headed for years by Harry Houdini, brings to the big stage at Tucson’s Temple of Music & Art, a special one night only magic show, the “Stars of Magic.” Arizona’s top magicians will assemble for this all new show, fit for the entire family and with 100% of the proceeds going to support the charitable works of this non-profit organization.

Several of the magicians in this show have performed at the most prestigious magic venues in the world, including numerous cruise lines, resorts, the Magic Castle in Hollywood, and top hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. You can get a sneak peek of the performers by visiting:  www.starsofmagicshow.com.

In a tribute to Houdini the opening act will feature the “Metamorphosis” a famous escape trick which was among Houdini’s signature effects. Following this, the audience is instore for a dozen of Arizona’s best and brightest magicians all assembled together for the first time and guaranteed to please young and old alike. The festivities also include strolling magicians, magic tricks and souvenirs, free authentic Houdini magic giveaways for the kids, and an opportunity to meet and greet the performers following the show.

The show is produced by the local Assembly of The Society of American Magicians. Tucson’s Assembly #136 is a non-profit which meets to advance the art of magic and prestidigitation in the community. The Assembly and all the talented magicians and production crew for the Stars of Magic show are 100% volunteers. In addition, 100% of the ticket proceeds goes to supporting the good works of the Assembly in not just the magic community but the Southern Arizona community at large. Ticket proceeds go to support magic education and speakers, hospital volunteer drives, subsidizing meals to retired magicians and generally putting magic back into people’s lives. Like its famous National founder, Harry Houdini, the Tucson Assembly makes every effort to give back to its community.
