Gather's next market is May 4, 5, 6 & 7.
"Bright Bold Beauty" is the theme for our May market. We are inspired by the vivid colors of Tucson as we head into summer. Most mornings, there is a cardinal flying around our back yard, and its vibrant red pops against the chartreuse green foliage. As the Brittle Bush flowers come to an end, the Palo Verde trees burst into bloom, a sea of yellow throughout the desert. All of the vivid colors of the desert inspired us this month--red, orange, yellow, and green which resonates with all things summer.
Tray and part of the Gather team journeyed west this month in search of beautiful things with warm summer hues and inspiration for infusing the home and garden with pops of color. What we love about pops of color is that they bring new life to fantastic design, freshening up what we already love in our homes. Some of the amazing finds from this month's road trip include an old wooden rolling cart once used for storing metal folding chairs that has now been transformed into a multi-functional piece that would be perfect for a kitchen island, entertainment center, or a large indoor or outdoor bar / serving table. On casters, this piece is a dream to use and move around.
An antique full-sized sleigh bed with a gorgeous green patina is a great starting point for a color story. We found the largest crystal chandelier that we've ever had in the store. There's one word to describe it--stunning. Have you been on the hunt for a farm table? We have them--from 5' to 6' to 8'. Do you remember that during the holidays, we had those gorgeous windmill blades that we used as room dividers and hung from the ceiling to set off chandeliers? We were fortunate enough to find two along with multiple sizes of the "yard art" windmills, from 4' to 7' tall.
We have a huge selection of dressers that can be used in any room in the home--from linen and towel storage in a bathroom, to a folding table in a utility room, a serving buffet in a dining room, flanking a bed in a bedroom as a night stand, or as an accent piece in an indoor or outdoor living space.
Our awesome photographer Julie Shaw stopped by in the middle of the redesign, and she was so excited she snapped a few pictures and created a video. Enjoy!
Watch for more photos and video throughout the week on Facebook. The full-length video should be on our site by Wednesday.

Gather A Vintage Market
"What started out as a passionate hobby has turned into our dream business!"
In 2012, we decided it was time for us to launch our dream . . .
a 4-day Vintage Market. We were fortunate to find a warehouse in downtown Tucson, a former lumberyard known as the Old Arizona Sash and Door Warehouse. The minute we walked in, we knew we found the perfect space. We love the old crusty, galvanized tin walls, exposed rafters, and wooden floor. Our dream was to create a magical environment in which we could interact with customers, share our ideas, vision, and creativity, and have fun with everyone who comes through our doors.
In January 2013, that dream came true when we opened for our first market. We now have 16 vendors, and we blend all of our furniture and finds together to create a curated collection in styled vignettes. Our vendors shop across the country and even in Europe to bring you amazing treasures. Each month when you come to our market, the entire floor plan is redesigned and restyled around a theme, creating a fresh and interesting experience each month. Our goal is that every customer who comes through the door has fun and is inspired while enjoying the uniquely styled treasures, and we want to provide customers with creative inspiration for incorporating vintage items into their homes and gardens.
We'd love to see you at one of our upcoming markets. We enjoy and are grateful for our customers, and we love hearing about how they use the treasures they've found at Gather in their homes and gardens.
