The 4th of July Old Pueblo Style
Fireworks and Other
Independence Day Events

By Carrie Francis

Note: This page will be updated leading up to July 4, 2019 as new information is available. If you would like your events included, please send me the information.

When I was growing up in Tucson, pretty much the only place I can remember being able to see fireworks on the 4th of July was over "A" Mountain downtown. There may have been a few small displays in the foothills or at High Corbett Field if the Toros were playing that day, but public fireworks displays were few and far between as I recall. That was the 1970s. In 2019, there are many places to see fireworks and enjoy Independence day festivities all over Southern Arizona. Tucson Happenings is proud to bring them all together in one place so you can plan your day, and have a great time!
